Is Skillshare a Fraud? Some Facts You Need To Know

I signed up to Skillshare Because of free trial.

The day BEFORE my trial was supposed to end I got the email from them thanking me to Premium.

Obviously, I was perplexed. It is normal for organizations to offer free trials in hopes that you like the product enough to really cover it. What is not normal is for your company to LIE to you and bill you the day before the free trial is supposed to even end, in effect alerting you and then stealing your cash. I was angry.

I looked on the internet and following 30 minutes of digging, I found a telephone number for your firm (Red flag, exactly what legitimate company does not have an easily accessible customer service number?) . I called that number and it moved directly to voicemail. At this point I was freaking out cause all these experiences were causing me to believe this actually was a scam. The only real option left to me was to compose them an email via their site. This was over 3 months before, and I've yet to receive a response.

I am appalled at how they handle business (by first tricking their clients, then dismissing their issues). They stole my cash without any warning and are now unreachable.

I moved back to their own website as well as their advertising for Premium is a lie. It clearly says that your Premium accounts is cancelable at anytime. What they actually mean is it is possible to cancel it so that it won't revive at the next billing cycle (that can be an whole year!!) . They're Skillsharing: What's is all about? - Resilience crooks. If their articles were not any good, I'd have happily continued with their services, but all their videos are things I can locate on YouTube or other places for free. The only thing I an do now is save other people the hassle.

DO NOT register for your free trial. If you do a bit more research you will discover a multitude of different reviews like mine.

Go to Lynda.com or even YouTube. Please, don't make the exact same mistake that I did, and stay away!!

I wrote to Skillshare a last time, also it feels like in the past 4 months they've really upped their client support game. I received a same-day response apologizing for my previous experience and with an offer to repay me all of my money. This gesture has been more than I anticipated, and I am grateful to know that people do work at this business, and it appears they are listening to the negative reviews and also seeking to create a better firm. I still have a sour taste in my mouth, but I really feel as though once they ended up giving me all my cash back I must update my review and provide them more than 1 star.
